Northern Beaches Graphic Design
Manly Beach Sydney love

Did you know Spicy Broccoli Media sprouted on the Northern Beaches?

The Spicy Broccoli Media Headquarters is located in Manly Vale, close to the beach and even closer to amazing local businesses. Whether it is a logo refresh, branding, print or digital design, we are spoilt for choice in terms of opportunities for graphic design jobs on the Northern Beaches. Here are a couple of our favourites graphic design projects we have completed on the Northern Beaches. Questions already? Contact us by clicking here!

Stella Blu

Stella Blu originally wanted to redo the website. After creating the foundation of the freshened branding, we redesigned their menu set which we organised on synthetic paper. This allowed them to be being better-branded, aesthetically pleasing, and more space for the really important things; specials. The change to synthetic paper also saved them $1000’s on the leather bound menus! Cha-ching!

The Ivanhoe Hotel Manly

After refurbishing the heritage listed establishment, the Ivanhoe Hotel Manly set Spicy Broccoli the task to design a logo and branding that retains the traditional essence with the addition of an image of the new establishment. With the new branding in tow, we designed the menu, take away menu, daily specials and drinks and wine list. We continue to work with the Ivanhoe, updating menus, creating event posters, animated graphics, and even redesigning their website! The website redesign focused on drawing consumers attention towards the stunning homepage gallery. It also created an online platform for them to upload all events and special themselves. Check it out!

Form1

Form1 prides itself in creating original fire solutions that cover every angle businesses need to take care of their people. After refreshing the Form1 logo, the team at Spicy Broccoli Media had the job of redesigning the Form1 website. Whilst exploring the Form1 company culture, portraying WHY they do what they do, the new web design also showcased current services, people they work with and testimonials. Its main goal, to connect, inform and educate.

“We want them (users) to learn more about who we are and what we do. Inspiring and easy-to-digest information that tells existing and new clients plus future employees what makes Form 1 different. It’s important we educate them about our unique culture with inspiring content that is different to what our competitors deliver on their websites”.

Culture is the heart of the Form1 business and website which brings fire safety to life. Spicy Broccoli Media launched Form1 in December 2017 and were awarded the 2017 Special Kudos Award by the CSS Design Awards for the website’s design! Click here to check out the award!

Basic Bananas

Basic Bananas is a Northern Beaches marketing agency known for its killer small business skills and blast off workshops. Owners Franziska and Christo Hall are innovators in their field, regularly travelling the world to speak about how your business can market itself. We first designed their logo back in 2010, featuring the iconic pop art style banana logo. The full logo includes the business name and its elevator pitch ‘Small Business Marketing Made Simple’. We recently updated the font of their logo to remain modern and fun, as seen below!

James Griffin MP

After doing the Mike Baird website and marketing collateral, James Griffin MP contracted Spicy Broccoli to design their online and printed newsletters. We created friendly, approachable, and trustworthy branding, the newsletter mailing out to over 20,000 locals with pertinent community news. With attention to detail and a thoughtful format, the Spicy team used a A1 poster folded and folded into thirds to fit into a standard envelope; which was large enough to house photo montage plus 8 content areas.

The government trusts us, and you should to! 😉Graphic Design for James Griffin Graphic Design for MP James Griffin

Beachwood | South Pacific Private

Beachwood Recovery Living is a housing quarters in which recovering addicts can access additional support in their ongoing recovery journey and in the transition from inpatient back to their daily lives. Located in Curl Curl on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, it is is an additional service provided by South Pacific Private Hospital; a treatment centre for those suffering from mental health concerns and addictions.

We designed the Beachwood logo to feature a simple idea of the house above the waves, representing hope, survival and ‘being above water’. The inclusion of the waves in The Beachwood logo mirror the establishment’s coastal Northern Beaches location and reinforces the calming motif. It is consistent with the South Pacific Private logo, but also represents the path to home, a safe and friendly environment. Professional, modern, linked to our location, and illustrating the journey of recovery, Beachwood was a very important graphic design project for Spicy Broccoli Media.
